Measure the intended wall space and compare it with the dimensions on the product page. If the gift is a surprise, ask someone who knows the room to help. For another size or a more involved design, contact us before ordering.
Choose customization on the product page and enter the requested details. Backplates are a separate selection: standard lake map pages include options for no backplate, solid black and full color. Names, logos and backplates shown in example photos are not automatically included in every order.

For custom work, we prepare a layout proof from the details you provide. We may contact you with questions, and you can request changes before approving the design for cutting.
- Read each name and date against your original notes.
- Confirm the lake and the location of any house pin.
- Check the wording and arrangement.
- Send corrections together so the revised proof is easy to review.

Work back from the gift date
Our production runs start on Tuesdays. Monday orders join that Tuesday’s run; Wednesday orders join the following Tuesday’s run. Estimated dispatch is 1–2 weeks for standard orders and 2–3 weeks for custom orders, counted from the scheduled Tuesday production start, not the order date. Typical UPS transit adds 2–4 business days after dispatch.
