Production starts on Tuesdays
Our production runs start each Tuesday. An order received on Monday joins that Tuesday’s run; an order received on Wednesday is scheduled for the following Tuesday.
Standard orders are estimated to dispatch in 1–2 weeks and custom orders in 2–3 weeks, measured from the start of the scheduled Tuesday production run. These estimates do not begin on the order date and do not include carrier transit time.
Custom designs go through a proof process before cutting. Please check spelling, house-pin locations and all other details before approving your proof. If you have a specific deadline, contact us before ordering so we can discuss the production schedule and delivery.
Manufacturing and shipping location
We make and ship our products from 699 Altman Rd., Gray, GA 31032. Visits are by appointment only; contact us to arrange an appointment before visiting.
UPS transit and delivery
We use UPS. Typical transit is 2–4 business days after dispatch, separate from production time; transit and arrival dates are estimates.
We do not request signature-required delivery. UPS may require a signature for some shipments. Check the tracking and delivery notices for your shipment’s requirements.
We send a shipment notification and tracking information to the email address on your order when the artwork is ready to ship.
Packaging and shipping rates
All artwork is quality inspected and wrapped for safe transit. Listed shipping rates include packaging materials, boxing labor and courier cost. We combine shipping whenever possible.
Quoted shipping rates apply to the lower 48 United States. For delivery elsewhere, including international delivery, contact us for a shipping quote before ordering. Import duties, taxes, customs fees and other import charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the buyer’s responsibility.
Standard shipping rates
These standard rates apply to the lower 48 United States and Washington, DC, and use the merchandise total after discounts and before tax. A valid free-shipping coupon overrides these rates. Contact us for a quote to other destinations.

If your shipment arrives damaged
Email ken@metallakemaps.com within 2 days of delivery with photos of the damaged artwork and packaging. Keep the original packaging and all items for UPS inspection, and do not attempt a repair. Read our return and damage policy for the next steps.
